In addition to basketball, Baxter has played softball, soccer and baseball throughout her athletic career. Baxter earned All-Region honor last season and she was Region Player of the Year in 2021-22. Spartanburg Day’s loss turned out to be Walhalla’s gain as she will be wearing purple of the Razorbacks. Baxter previously played at 5A Spartanburg before eventually transferring to Spartanburg Day and later to Walhalla. Passing and taking advantage of ball screens are among the strong suits of her game. During the AAU months, she wears the uniform of KST Academy 17U.

Baxter gets baskets and Baxter is also at the bat as she is a two sport athlete who adds softball to her athletic plate. She previously also played at 5A Spartanburg before transferring to Spartanburg Day and has played AAU ball during the spring and summer months with KST Academy 17U. Baxter plays with a pass-first attitude playing as a one guard. She can take advantage of ball screens to advance the ball closer to the rim or to locate open teammates. She has a knack for making accurate passes to open teammates. Baxter is also blazing a trail for women in baseball as she chosen to play in this year’s All-American Women’s Baseball Classic in Florida.
