Nerney was a surprise for many this season, but she shouldn’t be by the next after reaping the many benefits of executing at a high-level. Marron will be looked upon to continue to provide stability, ramp up the production with more touches and just generally setting the tone early on so the state can know Ponganset is ready to make another run.

Nerney had 24 pts, 8 reb and 5 stl vs Smithfield. Marron was a considerable factor in Ponaganset’s run last year and she’s back again this season already making statements. The ’27 forward is showing why she’s one of the state’s better overall scorers. Expect to hear a lot more from Marron.
