Maryrose is a fantastic outside shooter, but she has developed her game over the years to be able to contribute in many different ways. She handles it so much better now, she has a natural feel for the game, and she can find open teammates in positions to score. This will be a great opportunity this Spring & Summer to show coaches she can run a team from more of a point guard position against top competition. At minimum, she’s a talented perimeter shooter.

(above) drawing quite a bit of attention, Maryrose was able to find space and rhythm pretty easily Friday afternoon. When she’s able to get her balance and square her shoulders, she’s one of the best shooters in the state. She knocked down several jumpers, even attacked a couple of times with nice finishes, and looks like a real weapon on the wing. Becoming a more dynamic scorer on a consistent basis should be the next step to help her recruiting.
