A lot of recruiting is about who you play with, where you play, etc. Throughout the Spring, I felt like Masen played extremely well at times, but a few of her teammates had more buzz entering April and May. Following a productive 2025-2026 season, and a strong spring, I feel like if Masen continues that type of play throughout July, she’s going to draw a lot of good small college attention. She’s a really nice athlete, an aggressive attacked, and an effortful defender who can cause havoc for opponents. I really think she has gone under the radar a bit, but July could be big for her.

Masen has had a huge 12-18 months, and hopefully it will pay off for her soon in recruiting. She is a nice, strong athlete, she plays with a good motor, but she also plays under control. She is an effective scorer from all three levels, and she does a nice job of absorbing contact when attacking the basket. Defensively, she’s a solid rebounder for a guard, plus she can defend most guards, wings, and even the occasional undersized forward. I think she could be an effective small college scorer after averaging 18.4 points as a Junior this year.

Masen is another prospect who had a really nice Sophomore year. In her second season, she averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.1 steals per game for Perry Central. She is more of an athletic attacker than a shooter, but she can knock down an occasional outside jumper. She’s a hard worker, she defends with effort as well, and she posts good rebounding numbers from the perimeter for a guard.
