Her ability to keep her dribble low allowed her to navigate through tight spaces and find her open teammates. Despite facing heavy pressure from top defenders, she was able to protect the ball and make plays. Though smaller in stature, Allen had creative ways to throw off defenders’ timing, whether through a side-step into a jump stop or by initiating contact before going into her layup to prevent her shot from being blocked.
