Maura plays for a very balanced team where she doesn’t have to score a lot, but she is more than capable in a varsity of ways including from the perimeter. She is an excellent finisher at the rim and able to score in transition. Smart basketball IQ with a knack for being around the ball. Makes good decisions with the ball.

Carroll is deep and talented, and Maura was one of the most poised kids I saw on this day. She has great moves with the ball and can put it on the floor and get to the rim. She made some big plays for her team, helping bring Carroll back from a big early deficit. Able to get open and score.

Very shifty player with very quick footwork to fly by her defenders. Knowing when to drive to the basket and when to take the open jumper, confidence from the charity stripe. I like her ball handling skills and quickness! She can change directions quickly and foresee the game, has good footwork, and a wicked first step when she enters the paint. Can defend many spots both inside and outside. She moves up from the watchlist to number 61.

Part of a very solid freshman class at Dayton Carroll, Maura is a good all-around player with a good basketball IQ. One thing she does is make good decisions on the court and can find the open player. She plays in the summer with the Dayton Metro . Will be fun to watch this group grow through their career.
