Another 2025 playing on the New Heights 2024 roster, Maya has the frame and strength to compete with the older girls. She gets great positioning in the post and when she catches, she makes quick moves to the basket where she is comfortable finishing with both hands. Not a great elevator or exceptionally long, Maya uses her body well to create space to get her shots off inside with ease and keep people off the glass. She is very good off the ball cutting to the basket to receive passes from her slashing guards and wings and she finishes strong at the rim. In a loaded rising junior class at Gil St. Bernard’s that includes Sidney Quinn Sidney Quinn 6'2" | PF Gill St. Bernard | 2025 State NJ and Gandy Malou-Mamel Gandy Malou-Mamel Gandy Malou-Mamel 6'5" | C Gill St. Bernard’s | 2025 State NJ , only rising senior Brooke Baisley Brooke Baisley 5'10" | SF Gill St. Bernard’s | 2024 State NJ outscored Maya last season. This team should be fun to watch this year.
