Pender High School is always a program that knows how to bring it with their best on the court. That’s been obvious for the past couple of years now. Along with that, the Pendragons also have a number of skilled individuals to help their cause. Someone that specifically comes to mind is senior,

. Dolliver broke the schools all time scoring and assisting record last week in her efforts on the floor. Moving into this week, she sits with over 1525 career points, 367 career assists and she is still counting. Moving into the Playoffs I anticipate that Dolliver will be one of the highest producers in PPG, APG, and SPG, no matter the Class or age level, across the state. Looking back, she is going to go down as one of the best Pendragons to ever do it and that’s something she should definitely be proud about.

ended up committing to the University of Sioux Falls (D2) to continue on her basketball career once she finishes up at Pender High School. During her Junior campaign, Dolliver led her Varsity team to a 28-1 record, bringing home a State Title at the end of the State Tournament. Dolliver is a pure winner. Someone that understands how to motivate the others around her and make them better because of her own ability in different aspects of the game. She is going to take this winning tradition with her to the next level, once it’s time to make that move.

of Pender High School and

AAU. Dolliver is a savvy guard with a lot of experience in the department of winning and how to handle pressure at some of the highest degrees. Following her Senior season with the Pendragons, she will join D2 – Sioux Falls in South Dakota to continue on her basketball journey. I’m not sure what the Cougars future roster will look like at that time but whatever role is given to Dolliver, she will thrive at. She has proven that she can lead a team in any form/facet and I can’t wait to see that at the next level.

would be described as a winner. No other way to put it or other way to phrase it. Every time she takes the floor, she is winning in some way and more recruiters have noticed that as of late as we move into the month of July. After leading a Pender team to a 28-1 record last high school season, Dolliver took her talents to compete with a skilled
Nebraska Supreme
team and she has been consistent in every sense of the term. As of most recent, she has taken some D2 visits and received some offers. If she continues on this path over the next few months, I’m sure she will have more offers lined up moving into the Winter before she makes her final decision.

is a the do it all, it-factor type prospect for her
Nebraska Supreme
17U team. She is a quick thinking, fast moving guard, that can be moved around the floor while producing at a high rate from all different area’s on the court. She is a steady producer with the basketball in her hands and she is an able passer off of the catch or dribble. Dolliver is one of those players that can produce with or without the ball, showing that she can be used in several different systems. So far this AAU season, she has shown out as one of the most complete players on this roster, week in and week out. Always giving it her all and leaving it all on the floor each and every game.

during the past high school season but she came to play yet again this weekend. Dolliver is a “Swiss-army knife” type prospect. Whatever her team needs from her, she is willing to do without the recognition of praise or getting the credit for. She is someone that can score if her team needs her in that moment to score, she can defend if her team needs her to defend, and most importantly – she plays team basketball. All in all, this is one of those players that every coach loves to coach but opposing coaches hate to coach against. She works hard on both sides of the floor and she never takes plays off on either end. This weekend she was doing more of the same and just making it happen. Whenever her team needed a bucket, she got it for them. Whenever they needed a stop, she came up big. At times she really shows that she possesses that “it” factor. No matter the situation, she makes “it” happen and that is something that you can’t teach from a coaching perspective. You just need to sit back and let it happen. This team put together a solid weekend as a group and Dolliver shined as one of the best. I’m not sure if any collegiate programs have reached out to her about her future but if she continues to play at this rate, it’s only a matter of time.

The Pender Pendragons brought home another State Title this Winter in their new Class, showing everyone watching that it doesn’t matter what Class they are in, they are going to dominate their opponents any chance they can get. One of their best and most important pieces to their puzzle is Guard,

. Dolliver is efficient, smart, and calculated. She makes the most of her opportunities, while understanding to trust in the teammates around her. The best teams out there are the one’s that have star-players but those star players also trust in the others around them and this team embodies that. They have several prospects on roster that could go out each evening and have a record night so it just depends on who is feeling the best, that given evening. As for Maya individually, she is a hooper that can make an instant impact in almost any program. If she keeps working on the correct things this offseason, I’m sure her recruiting is going to continue to stay consistent all the way up until she commits to compete at the next level.

Maya Dolliver comes highly ranked on this list each update because of her mixture of skill and versatility on the hardwood. I would be hard pressed to find more than a handful of players in this Class that can do what Dolliver does on a consistent basis. She brings up the ball, she can handle pressure off the dribble, she can score from all three levels, she can produce off of the ball, she can defend any alike sized player, and she knows how to lead a team. For example, Last season she was good enough to help lead her team to a State Title and they are looking to repeat that once again this winter. As we are three weeks into the regular season, the Pender Dragons have started where they left off from last year. Their leaders are leading, the coaching staff is doing a great job of preparing for each contest, and everyone else is buying in. As long as Dolliver keeps up her play, everyone else is going to be able to step up and help this team in the long run.

Maya Dolliver starters off our Top 5 countdown for the 2025 class in the state of Nebraska. Dolliver is a 5’7 point guard that is extremely skilled. I would consider her a “pass first” type player, who can score whenever she needs to in big moments. You can tell by the effortless way she moves down the court that she is a hooper. Defensively, she uses her speed and change of direction to impact her opponents throughout an entire contest, usually giving her a steal or three before things are said and done. Dolliver has a real feel for the game of basketball and it’s noticeable. A player who helped lead her team to a state title last season, is a very interesting prospect with a bright future ahead of herself on the court. If she stays motivated and keeps on working on her game in the off-season, the sky is the limit.
