I watched Maya back in June and loved what I saw. She’s around 5’9″ with an athletic build and plenty of upside as a left-handed guard. Maya has can make shots from the mid-range, get to the rim, or toss of floaters in the lane. She also thrives playing at a fast pace and has a nose for the ball on the defensive end. Manual returns plenty of talent this season, and with players like Maya ready to emerge, the Lady Crimsons could be a tough out in the 7th Region.

Male seems to always have good 8th graders who play well on the varsity level then end up at a private school in high school. Maya is a talented player who is off to an efficient start to her season as she’s averaging 9 points per game on 42-50-50 shooting splits. She’s kicking in 4 rebounds per game too.
