The Brookfield native is a player who can create in a phone booth and score the ball at an elite level. Kovacic hasn’t shied away from high-profile shots at any point in time and helped her Brookfield East team reach the State Championship game due to her heroics in the State Semifinals in her first year of high school basketball. Kovacic has since become the Spartans’ all-time leading scorer and has been one of the most productive players in her class around the state. Kovacic will also continue her playing career in the Summit League at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Brookfield native is one of the best shot creators in her class. Her ability to get to her shot off the bounce helped the Spartans reach a state title game in her first high school season. Kovacic has been one of the best finishers around the rim and in the mid-range area, and she has multiple ways of getting to her shot. She’s been excellent in her first season as the primary scoring option for the Spartans, leading them to an 11-2 start to open the season.

Few kids in any class can score the ball as fluidly as Kovacic when she’s at her best. The 5’7 Brookfield native has been one of the more dangerous threats in D1 since she first dawned a Spartan uniform in 2022. Kovacic was one of the standouts of the 2023 state tournament due to her performance against Germantown in the state semifinals. She’s been successful everywhere she’s played, most recently at the U.S. Open in South Carolina, where her Wisconsin Lakers team made a run to the title game.
