Versatility is her best attribute. 12 double doubles in her junior year at Morristown HS as she averaged 12+ ppg and 10 rpg. Maya uses her length to control the game at both ends. Defensively, she is physical and uses her length to disrupt shots in the paint. She averaged 3.6 bpg as a junior and either blocked or disrupted countless shots at the NE Warm Up. When she gets the ball on offense, she attacks the rim and with her size and length she finishes over people. She has a nice stroke from 3 and the more she shoots it the more her drives are going to open up. She is a commanding presence inside for the United 17u Select 40 squad.

Long athletic wing with all the skills to go with it. What strikes me most when I watch her on the offensive end is her patience. Maya gets what she wants on offense and doesn’t have to force to get it. She uses great body positioning and strength on her drives to get to the rim where she is a strong finisher. Very confident stroke from the perimeter and uses her spacing to get open looks.  Head is always up on dribble drive and is a very good interior passer on the attack. After 12 double double in her junior year at Morristown High School where she averaged 12+ points per game and 10 rebounds per game she’s ready to take her game to big stage with United this Spring/Summer.
