Bachmeier has the length and athleticism to be a great high school player. She is going to be an easy ‘plug-in-play’ at the varsity level. She is going to be able to come in early as an underclassman and be an easy substitute for Coach Schwartz. Mckenzie plays with great enthusiasm and effort. She runs the floor hard and is a great defender and rebounder.

Mckenzie is going to be a really effective high school player. She reminds me of her older teammate Sydney Aberle. She is a very strong athlete with a sturdy base. She is hard to move past down low and is quick enough on her feet to keep guards in front of her defensively. She has a quick first step and is tough going downhill to her strong hand. She has good vision with her passes as well. Mckenzie is another tough, blue collar player for Minot.

Mckenzie has a good frame for a young post and possesses good strength to compete with the older girls. She has a great opportunity at practice to play against one of the state’s best posts in LeeLee Bell. She can take each practice as a learning opportunity on how to be great. She is an aggressive rebounder and isn’t afraid to shoot the outside shot. There is a lot of upside to Mckenzie’s game.
