Roberts is a shifty shooter who manipulates defenders with hesitations, fakes, and change of speeds at a high level. She has a unique combo of being an elite shooter who also possesses outstanding vision and passing ability. Whether she is working to attack off the bounce or open up passing windows, she has the patience to create openings and make things happen. She also shows some good hand-eye on the defensive end and if you put the ball out there she’s going to be ready to swipe it.

Eastlake loses four key seniors off of last year’s team but they still have some solid talent to fall back on this winter, and the addition of Roberts in the backcourt certainly helps. She put up over 17 points a game last season and is right up there with some of the top 3-point shooters in the state. And though her shooting gets a lot of attention, she’s also a high IQ player who understands how to manipulate defenses and has proven to be an adept passer who can make plays from the wings.

Megan is headed to Eastlake next season and will thrive for her new school. She fills the gaps on both sides of the ball well for her team, doing all the little things to an elite level. She is patient down low, having solid footwork and even displaying an excellent step back jumoper.

Megan is perhaps the biggest name in a new uniform next season. The #8 player in the class of 2026 will be taking her talents to Eastlake.In her first two years of high school basketball at Newport she was outstanding. A top shooter and bucket getter in the state. She averaged just under 18 points a game in her freshman and sophomore years combined. She will have no problem keeping up with her high scoring ways with the talent she has as a complete scoring guard. She has been talented beyond her years since before entering high school. She has in the gym range and a mid-range game to complement it. She is adept at creating space to get shots and strong around the basket. She should continue to be one of the top shooting guards in the state after dropping a total of 179 threes in her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Then:Megan had never played a high school basketball game yet as far as I know. The incoming freshman earned MVP honors at the Top 250 averaging around 30 points a game. She must have made close to 30 threes in as many games.

Now: She is a scorer with a career average of 18 a game in her first two years. She has knocked down 179 threes. That is an elite shooter. Strong with the ball and a mid-range game to go with it. KingCo 2nd team pick last season. She is just getting started.

Megan has been a lights out scoring guard who has some of the best range you’ll see. She has been a lights out shooter since I first saw her at the Freshman Showcase a couple years ago. She absolutely lit it up there, hitting at least 7 threes in each game. She has continued to do the same with some huge games the last two seasons. She is a strong guard who can play at her own pace, sets up the defense well for the mid-range jumpers, and creates well enough to get shots when she is overplayed by the defense. She is a solid ball handler but no doubt a scoring guard by trade. I believe she hit 9 threes in a game last season and has to be right there with the leaders in threes made her freshman and Sophomore seasons.

One of the best deep ball shooters in the state. She’s a bucket getter. She creates space well in the mid-range to get good looks. She makes threes at a high level and often. She is strong enough to use that to score on all levels. She had some huge games last year, dropping lots of threes
