She rebounded the ball well and was very impressive at initiating the break after grabbing the rebound. Garcia showed some great court vision, dishing several dimes to her teammates on the wings. She also was the recipient of a few fast-break passes. On one play, she caught a pass at half-court, dribbled with the left with a defender all over her, and converted the left-hand layup. On offense, Garcia showed she could get to the rim and finish with the left or the right hand. Garcia’s defensive IQ was really impressive. She played great help-side defense and did a great job of communicating with teammates. Garcia did a lot of things well- nothing flashy, but extremely solid and dependable. She is the player you want on the floor when the game is on the line.
