Maia is a fun watch for college coaches, because she is just solid in most areas of the game. She is a steady and poised ballhandler, she plays with her head up scanning the floor, and she gets the ball where it needs to go while playing with a little pace, too. She has solid strength at her size and does a nice job of playing on-balance and absorbing contact. At the defensive end of the floor, Maia plays with good positioning and awareness, and she is an effective rebounder for her size.

Maia experienced a great deal of opportunity for the Lady Millers during her Freshman campaign, and you can see quite a difference in her game from last November to this July. She is incredibly feisty, skilled, and she plays with a great all-around feel for the game. She understands how to deliver it to teammates on time and on target, but she also has some experience playing off the ball and moves well around the weak side of the floor. She will never be tall, but her skillset, understanding, and toughness will draw her some legit college looks.

Maia is a really nice point guard prospect who stepped up and filled a nice role for the Lady Millers during her rookie campaign. For me, I need to see her one more time, but I was very close to adding her to the Top 35 in 2028 this time around. She is another tough little guard who plays with feistiness. Offensively, she does a really nice job of getting gaps and putting pressure on the defense, plus she herself is a solid on-ball defender.
