Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am an aggressive, defensive minded player who likes to rebound against your biggest player and steal the ball on an unsuspecting pass. I’m not afraid to get on the ground after loose balls and sprint down the court for the fast break. My favorite shot is a corner 3, but I also love driving to the basket for the shot and possible “and 1.”
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am often referred to as quiet, but my commonly seen smile often fools my opponents. I am strong in my faith, and feel that ethics are at the utmost importance.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in the following clubs: Best Buddies, National Honor Society, HOSA, FCA, Habitat for Humanity, YoungLife
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am one of five SR captains on my high school basketball team for the second season. I am also a senior leader in YoungLife. I will graduate in 2025 with a Volunteerism diploma for the many hours of community service/volunteer work I have completed throughout my high school career. I have also completed many volunteer hours through the Natl Honor Society and other misc programs.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I tore my labrum in my shoulder at the start of my Junior year. To avoid missing out on my last summer of travel ball, I pushed through the excruciating pain, played an entire school and travel season, and waited to have the necessary surgery. I was able to have the surgery during an off time, and am coming back bigger and better than I was before.
What type of college are you looking for?
One whose team has fun while playing the game they love, and would do anything for their teammates on and off the court. Since we will all be away from home, it’s important for us to have a family mentality, and to feel as if we need to work hard to be better for each other.
