The future Colgate player thrived her senior year and led her team to the state tournament. She is a pure bucket getter with a dynamic offensive game and elite defense too. She’s a player who scores from all 3 levels and does what it takes to get the win. She’s patient with the ball, picking the right play to make with either getting the bucket or finding an open teammate. 

She is an elite player who excels both on and off the ball, showcasing her versatility and high basketball IQ. Her ability to facilitate the offense stands out, effortlessly finding open teammates and delivering precise passes. Offensively, she scores smoothly from all three levels, making her a constant threat on the court. With her skill set and leadership, she is poised to thrive in the college basketball environment.

Brockmeyer earned First Team All-League honors as a true floor general with elite scoring touch. Known for her lightning-quick release, she shot confidently off the dribble and the catch, while her first step allowed her to blow by defenders and create offense. Defensively, her quick hands and anticipation disrupted passing lanes, sparking transition opportunities. But what made Brockmeyer stand out most was her vision—always keeping her head up and finding open teammates with ease. She was the steady heartbeat of Meadowdale’s backcourt.

One of the biggest underrated player in the state of Washington is Mia. She plays with Way2Win and has done a great job at stepping up this AAU season as a pure scorer. She shoots the ball VERY well, hitting 12 of 19 threes on the weekend last weekend while averaging 18,1 points per game. She is an exceptional well shooter from deep and really does a great job at finding the open spots in the defense.

Mia is a scoring guard who knows how to break down defenses to get to her spots. She has an excellent mid-range shot and is able to stop on a dime when getting downhill to hit the jumper. She can shoot it well from beyond the arc too, moving without the ball efficiently to get open shots and find the weak spots in opposing teams.

Meadowdale’s top performer, junior guard Mia Brockmeyer Mia Brockmeyer 5'9" | CG Meadowdale | 2026 State WA , put on an impressive display, finishing with 21 points against one of the toughest defenses in the state. Mia showcased her elite shot-making ability, particularly in the mid-range and beyond the arc. Her ability to change pace while handling the ball kept defenders off balance, and her behind-the-back move was especially effective against pressure. As Meadowdale looks ahead to Tacoma, Brockmeyer’s ability to take over a game will be a key factor in their success.

Brockmeyer is a legit player at either guard spot. She can shoot from deep and in the midrange, knocking down quick catch-and-shoot looks or creating her own space with step-backs. Her quickness and footwork make her a threat to score from just about any spot, and on top of that, she can run the offense and shows good vision off the dribble. She really creates a lot of looks for their offense and is a dual-threat guard who should be in for a big year.

I was impressed with her play from the point guard position. She handles the ball well, keeps the head up and isn’t bothered much by pressure. She showed a nice offensive repirtotore with some mid-range pull ups, and shooting it off the dribble from three. Her overall basketball IQ is evident and she sees the floor well. She made some excellent passes, some off the bounce, one handed, she looked like a true point guard. Her ability to score from all levels also stood out. If this tournament is any indication, she is going to have a big season in 2025. She has shown some big strides in all aspects of the game.
