Despite her small stature, McFadden never shied away from the competition at the Freshman Showcase. The 5’4 guard showed no hesitation when tasked with guarding much taller and stronger players. Mia was an aggressive force on the perimeter, using her high energy defense to make things difficult for the competition. On the offensive end the Maranatha Christian Academy freshman showcased both her unselfishness with the ball and her proficient shooting from the three point line. Having earned some varsity playing time as an 8th grader, McFadden looks ready for a larger role with the Mustangs in her freshman year.
