Espinoza is one of two players on this list whose team made the State tournament. The reason the 5’4″ Espinoza is missing the playoffs, is due to a knee injury which was sustained back in January.
Prior to the injury, Espinoza served as the primary option for Volcano Vista. The savvy senior combo-guard averaged 16.2 points per game — a new career-high — with 2.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.9 steals for the Hawks.
