About Millie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my personal playing style as a team player that try’s to find the best shot for myself and my teammates. I would also say that I try to see the court fully, finding open spaces that need to be cut off or taken advantage of.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say that myself as a player can struggle with confidence in gameplay. I would as well state that I can upset myself with underperformance and standards I set myself with.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As a student athlete I participate in many clubs as well such as: FFA, FCA, FBLA, BETA club and some other small organizations. I have accomplished a 25+ club ACT, and have been to several state conventions.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout the many years I have played sports, I believe I have gained solid leadership skills, team-working abilities, served the community with many hours through the faith promise program, and built character on the standings of personal growth.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced few difficult hardships, which I am greatful for. My sophomore year of high-school, last soccer game of my career I severely sprained and strained ligaments in my ankle. A month before basketball season. I spent close to a month in a boot and 2 months in physical therapy. It was difficult regaining stability and gaining my usual gameplay back while keeping up with highschool game play

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m not fully set on college yet, I have many options I’m considering. If I have more of a reason to attend college such as continuing my passion of playing basketball I will be more leaned toward the options. I would likely have to attend a JuCo to start and work my way up, but if I get offers from universities they will be highly considered.
