Mollie, a Stonehill College commit, truly embodies the shooting guard role with her ability to score from anywhere on the floor. What a great weekend from Mullen in Ohio. The Jags were up against some stiff competition and Mollie shined bright through it all. The playmaking put on a full display of versatility as a primary playmaker for others as well as herself. She also showed she could hit from deep from various spots, plus she was able to find her way into the lane, showing she could finish multiple ways. The ’26 guard made the most out of the defensive’s mistakes and capitalized on most of the possessions with the ball in her hand. Mollie wasn’t just a factor offensively though. She made it her point to exert herself on the other end. The lively guard didn’t allow opposing guards to get comfortable coming up the floor. Her effectiveness in engaging ballhandlers and providing help from the proper position was forceful.

The Bishop Feehan guard has aided her team terrifically this season by helping them make a pretty deep run in the postseason. Mullen has been a staple for the squad with high-powered playmaking and being a positive asset on the floor at all times. She plays stout defense that has proven to complicate things for quality scorers. The casual eye may overlook the small things she does on the floor because of her lethal setup moves, but the intricate factors to her game really separate her as a prospect.

Mollie is the Central Catholic League’s DPOY. Her offense was typically what people were familiar with prior to the season, but that activeness on the floor has translated to the other side of the ball. Mullen has been incredibly valuable to her team this year. She’s a perimeter stopper in individual matchups and even more beneficial in team defense settings. The offense has still been fruitful while remaining an impactful defender and that’s why she was also named a league All-Star as well. Mullen is a priceless 2-way asset.

Mullen checked a lot of boxes this game. Mollie’s efficient playstyle was fantastic for the Shamrocks. She provided versatility and consistently came through big for her teammates. Her near triple-double game couldn’t have come at a better time. The 14 pts, 9 reb, and 8 ast were vastly critical. Mullen’s effectiveness in this game were fueled by her work ethic plus the sheer will to win. Mollie is a player that buys into her role and goes beyond the expectation of her duties. In this game she did a bit of everything, but her persistence really stood out. Often Mullen could be found soaring in to grab a board to give her team the possession. In a hostile game where spirits are up, Mollie’s multifaceted high-energy play is vital.
