Verrett moves very quickly laterally not allowing opposing guards to get by. Was one of the top defensive performers of the day here at McKale Center. She is a ferocious on ball defender. Has great speed she uses to get by the defense especially on fast breaks. Crashes the boards with purpose and rebounds well for her position. She has incredible speed. She was scoring very well in transition. Came up with quite a few steals that she took and scored the other way. Has a great handle and a strong motor.
