About Morgan
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
If defense travels, Morgan packed everything. In Beachside’s 62–46 win over Pine Forest (5-over-4), she delivered one of the most complete stat lines of the opening round: 10 steals, 11 assists, 17 points, and 8 rebounds. That’s a triple-double with steals — and every category mattered in that one. Her defensive pressure ignited runs, her anticipation turned passing lanes into transition chances, and she finished possessions by cleaning the glass. On the other end, she controlled tempo, finding teammates while still picking her spots to score.
Now it’s another Jacksonville vs. Panhandle showdown as Beachside travels to Pensacola to face 1-seed Booker T. Washington, the region favorite. To pull another upset, Morgan’s two-way dominance has to show up again. Against a top seed, extra possessions and pace control become everything, and she’s already proven she can tilt both.

has been one of the most disruptive defenders in St. Johns County for four straight years, leading in steals and building a reputation opponents know before tip-off. Her on-ball defense is elite — anticipation, timing, and confidence allow her to simply remove the ball from a handler and turn defense into instant offense. This season she added an offensive surge that now puts postseason hardware in reach, but make no mistake — her defense is still the foundation. Ball handlers don’t run offense against her – they do their best to get away from her.

Cremen ins one of the top players in the state of Florida. A player that works to get open and can play the point guard and shooting guard position. Knows how to score with the ball in her hands and know how to take what the defense gives her. Quick hands-on defense which allows her to get deflections and fast break scoring opportunities.

impacted the game with activity and toughness. She rebounded and pushed tempo, knocked down perimeter shots, and made hustle plays that shifted momentum. Her willingness to dive on the floor and compete stood out. Cremen had a monster game in which she scored 33 points and posted 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Cremen has always posted the steals, but her offensive game has evolved- some out of necessity, but more from hard work in the off season. Her three ball is fluid and looks good from the moment in leaves her hands.

is playing with a different level of freedom — and it shows. On Day One she was explosive from the jump, attacking the rim with speed that defenders couldn’t match – especially in the first quarter . Whether she was turning the corner, pushing the break, or slicing through traffic, Cremen’s athleticism was on a different level than most on the floor. She handled pressure with poise, absorbed contact, and got to the rim in multiple ways. What elevated her game even more wis her improved shot: the jumper looked smooth and controlled. Defensively, she displayed the quick hands, active feet, and constant activity that created turnovers and transition chances. Cremen is a dynamic two-way guard whose motor and mentality made her one of Day 1’s most impactful players.

started the preseason in monster mode, and her aggressive scoring mentality has only intensified. She used her elite speed, open-floor burst, and tenacious defense to score the ball. Cremen’s game thrives on pace and pressure. Few guards cover ground faster—once she forces a turnover or secures a rebound, it becomes a sprint she almost always wins. In preseason, Cremen averaged over 27 points in the final week of the preseason, dominating with her scoring, energy, and relentless attacking mindset. Cremen truly does it all—creating, defending, and scoring at a level that puts her among the most talented and dangerous guards in the State.

(cover photo) is the senior leader who continues to set the standard at the point guard position. At Rep on Reps Cremen’s game was full of the things that have come to be expected: steals, assists, and transition buckets. Her high IQ, toughness, and poise at the point make her the type of tone setter who can guide her squad on a deep postseason run — possibly all the way to Lakeland.

Cremen plays with high intensity, constantly pressuring the ball and playing in the passing lanes. She embraces defensive challenges, often guarding the best perimeter scorer and wearing them down. What separates her is her anticipation. Cremen has a six sense and makes game changing steals as a result. When the game needs a momentum swing, Cremen’s hands and effort often deliver it. Cremen has been among the State leaders since day one and her senior season will be a duplication of the last three seasons.

stands out on the defensive end with her basketball IQ and her instincts on the court. She has quick hands and is very good at taking the offensive player’s space away, forcing them to their week hand and ripping the ball. Cremen gets tons of deflections and forces turnovers even when she might not get credit for the steal. She plays the point guard position well and is a play maker on both ends of the court. It’s starts with her defense. Cremen has been a thorn in the side of all of Saint Johns county and will likely set a county record for most steals in a career. She is just that elite on the defensive end of the court.
