of Regina Catholic has had these past two weeks deserves a bunch of acknowledgment. So far she had led the Regals to an undefeated start, putting up massive games, night after night for everyone who is watching. In one of their first home tests of the season, Miller managed to put up 31 Points (13-20), 5 Rebounds, 5 Steals, 4 Assists, and 1 Block. It wasn’t all Miller as she does have some running partners this Winter but she definitely did her job of standing out on several different levels.

returns back to the Regals program after committing to D2 – Truman State in the off-season. Miller exemplifies what it means to be a PG in every definition of the phrase and she certainly has the ball on a string, per se. Ever since I’ve known Miller, she has had an elite handle with a quick dribble from side-to-side. She is truly one of the best controller’s of the ball that the state has to offer, no matter or Class or age and I’m sure she is ready to go for her Senior season.

of Regina Catholic in Iowa City and she has recently committed to Truman State to continue on her basketball journey following high school. Miller is a calculated passer, elite shooter, efficient scorer, and better than average defender. Miller follows the path of her older brother to Truman. Her brother Masen started at Truman as a Freshman and since then, he is now on the roster at North Dakota State for his final season of collegiate ball. During this weekend, Morgan stood out as a top prospect in the building competing. She did more than enough to continue to show the coaching staff for the Bulldogs that once she gets on campus, she is going to be fighting for playing time almost right away and that is something you love to see.

of Regina Catholic. Miller has been a difference maker on every court she has stepped onto since about her Sophomore year of high school ball. This is a guard with a calculated playstyle, smooth looking shot from deep, a quick trigger when letting it go in any way offensively, and a creative passer in both the full and half-courts. Following her Senior year with the Regals, Miller will take her talents to Truman State to compete with Coach Dean and the Bulldogs. This is a really well ran program, that does things the right way so it’s a win-win situation. By the time that Miller gets to the roster, she will have a chance to step up and make an instant impact. Something definitely doable if you understand Miller’s skill-set and history.

and her recruitment has been quiet every since she has been a Freshman at Regina High School but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t a quality prospect, that can bring a lot to the table. Miller is a PG, that understands situational basketball while having an exceptional feel for the game. She always understands the things going on around her and she can produce in every way imaginable. While competing in the 2A Class these past three years, she has put up some impressive numbers and had some really nice seasons as a whole. This next month is going to be very important in her recruitment. She is someone that I think could compete at the D2 level at the end of the day but that’s going to be determined on what she really wants. She is good enough, now it’s just about getting a shot and making it happen.

comes to mind from Regina Catholic out of Iowa city. Miller is the definition of a leader and a solid competitor. More often than not, she is her Regal’s team heart and soul. If you watch any of this programs contest from the past few seasons, Miller is the one that everything runs through. Doesn’t matter if it’s a set in their offense for a specific look or if it’s just Miller creating something out of nothing. When this team is moving at full speed and making things happen, it’s usually because Miller has a big part to do with it. My biggest take away from watching her compete as of late is that she can either lead her team’s offense while scoring the ball at a high rate OR she can lead everyone by facilitating and creating. In today’s game, it’s important to be able to do both. High-end colleges want a PG who can score at Will when they need it the most but for a majority of the time, they want someone who can set up and create more than anything. Which makes sense because that is the definition of a Point Guard that knows what they are doing. After coming off of a solid Winter season, Miller will lace up once again with the

for another Spring. I’m not sure who has reached out to her from a collegiate standpoint yet but whoever gets her, is getting a steal out of this State. She is very good and she comes from a family that is full of ballers. When you add those two things together, you usually see a lot of success on the hardwood.

Morgan Miller of Regina Catholic has been fantastic this entire season. Miller is a Point Guard out of the 2025 Class and she has some real talent on the hardwood. From everything she has demonstrated throughout this past 2.5 years, I am confident in saying that she is one of the top PG’s in the state in the regards of leader and setting up the players around her. No matter what court she is on or who the competition may be, there is never a time where she seems sped up or out of control. When she was a Freshman, she had this ability but the scoring wasn’t quite there yet but that has definitely changed. The consistent expansion of her range when shooting the ball has been promising to say the least. I’m not sure who has reached out to Miller or where she might have interest from at the collegiate level but she can play. I would be shocked if she wasn’t committed before her Senior season comes to close. She could be a game changer for a lot of programs out there.

is one of my favorite Point Guards in this Class for a few reasons. The first being that she is the definition of a true PG. She controls pace/tempo, runs her teams stuff to a T, can score from all three levels, and most importantly-she creates for others at a high and consistent rate. Miller is type of player to elevate the play of everyone else around her and that speaks volumes to myself and other potential college recruiters. As for college interest, I’m sure every D3 school in the state is after Miller but I think she is a Division-2 talent at the end of the day. She had a killer Sophomore high school season last winter and she is looking to repeat that, coming up here in the next few weeks. Something I’m excited to see first hand this season.
