is always a prospect to keep an eye on because she is electric when she competes. She loves to let it fly from the outside at a high clip and it’s fun to watch when it’s going in. Tonight is going to be the test of, how good can Stiefel really be? She is going to need to show us that she is a complete all around player. The opposing program is going to hone in on her right away from their scouting report so she will need to adapt. Others will be open off of her creation and off of her presence alone on the outside. If she uses that correctly against them, someone is going to be getting a whole bunch of buckets near the hoop in return when she drags the defense to the outside with her. If the defense doesn’t end up doubling, then she knows it’s time to go to work. This game is going to be a tight one. Whoever plays with more of a, “team”, concept first should come out on top.

, the two-headed monster accounts for nearly 40 points per game for the Burlington Grayhounds. Stiefel has seen her role increase as a senior and per points per game has shown for it. Playing on varsity since her freshman year, you would think that defenses would have Stiefel covered, but she consistenly finds ways to score — her average has jumped from 18PPG last season to 19.5 this year. Additionally Stiefel has an impressive assist to turnover ratio at 2.2, going to show that when she’s got the rock she knows what to do with it. Coming off a recent offer fro Roosevelt University, I envision more to come from the crafty point guard.

return this Winter with her Burlington High School team as the top dawg. Stiefel is a hooper with an impressive shooting stroke from all offensive levels. She isn’t afraid to launch it off the dribble going towards her right but she can also get into the teeth of the defense for a look at the basket if she isn’t being triple teamed. I thought that Stiefel had a tough task in this one. It was really her and one other player vs CCA as a team and it just didn’t matchup well. Stiefel did all that she could, putting up a valiant effort, and leaving it all on the floor in the end. Burlington might have fallen short but they are going to learn from this L and move forward with their season. Which is something we can all respect!

take her game to a whole other level this Winter at Burlington as their top dawg on both sides of the ball. Stiefel produces as a PG but she is also someone that is ball dominant. If she wants to make things happen, she needs the ball in her possession. Whatever program she competes with in college, she will have to learn how to really become a pass-first killer while still being dangerous as a scoring threat. She possesses all the intangibles and she does compete like a born leader so as long as she falls into a situation in which she fits, she should be someone that can produce at a higher rate than average. No matter the level of competition.

of Burlington High School received an offer from D2 – Quincy (IL) to start the month of August moving into her last year on the high school varsity floor. Stiefel is a shifty and creative prospect. She plays off of two feet offensively and she is really crafty when it comes to getting an open look for herself or another teammate. There is no doubt that Stiefel is a skilled hooper. The biggest questions she will have to answer at the next level are about strength. She will need to put on some weight over the next twelve months if she wants to see the floor at the collegiate level sooner rather than later. The college game is much quicker and much more physical, both factors that play a vital role. With that being said, I know that Stiefel is very motivated so I don’t think this is going to be a problem in the grand scheme of things.

has picked up right where she left off on the road this AAU season. Stiefel has been traveling, making a name for herself each and every weekend it seems. Prior to moving into this second Live Period Weekend of the Spring, Stiefel stopped by Wartburg to visit and she eventually received an offer. As we have mentioned in the past. Wartburg is well ran program. To receive an offer from them is impressive. They won their conference last season and they are prepped to do the same once again this upcoming season as well so this is definitely noteworthy.

Burlington High School is going to have some impressive years ahead of them as long as they come prepared each and every game. Someone that has been consistent for them for a few years now and who will be looked at for a ton of their production will be PG –

. Stiefel usually kills her competition because of her nice handle, her patience coming down the floor, and her knowledge of when to do what on both sides of the ball. Her progression over the past two seasons has been solid and she has been working in her off-season so I’m sure that trend will continue over these next few months.

of Burlington High School is a prospect out of this 2026 Class that can get down hill in a hurry while attacking her defender off the dribble. Stiefel has demonstrated that she is a crafty and shifty handler, while being able to get to whatever she wants to on offense, in any which way she pleases. She is equipped with great movement from fast to slow and back to fast again, really helping “sell” her moves on offense. After competing a successful high school Varsity season last year, she has taken her talents and competed with an impressive

16U BlueStar team. If she continues to expand her game to going into even deeper into her offensive bag, while stay fundamental in her movements, she is going to continue to shine against all sorts of competition into the near future.

I’ve highlighted Mylee Stiefel this past 6 months at the high school level but she is really coming into her own in all facets of the game. This weekend in Wisconsin, Stiefel was doing a little bit of everything while commanding her team’s offense. She is a Guard, that can get down hill in a hurry with her killer crossover. She is very good at shifting her opponents weight off of the dribble, getting them to lean a certain way before attacking their hips when going toward the basket. This past few days she also demonstrated that she can shoot it from deep at a consistent rate and she can facilitate for the others around her when the defense decides to over help. The future is bright with Stiefel. If she demonstrates over the next few months that she can do everything going left, that she is currently doing going right, she is going to be getting a lot of calls from D2 programs across the midwest before you know it.

An emerging talent out of the State of Iowa, Mylee Stiefel is a Guard to know from the 2026 Class. Stiefel is someone that could compete on any floor placed in front of her, against any competition that may stand in her way. She is a shifty Guard, that has an act for making the right play while coming down the floor. She is someone that always handles her personal matchups, while playing aggressive help side defense when her other teammates may have been beaten off the dribble in the half court. Stiefel maybe one of the most promising prospects from this state, that many don’t know about but it’s only a matter of time. This past weekend, Stiefel’s skills were on full display. She was making plays, setting up her teammates, and scoring herself when the opportunity seemed fit. She has raw skill, athletic ability, and she understands situational basketball. Three things that are going to be really important in the long run.
