Expert Analysis
Simmie Colson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Traylor is “long and athletic” which is the base, and she has a long list of Tip Sheets she’s made by showing just how skilled and athletic she is see evaluations here. Her ability to rebound and handle the ball afterward, at times going coast to coast looked good, but she sets the defender up smoothly to attack and finish off the dribble

She has an uncanny ability to use her body to protect the ball, absorb contact, and finish over larger opponents—all while staying at full speed in transition. Her balance, strength, and control make her a constant threat the moment she gets downhill.

Traylor is a move-in from Oklahoma, and she’ll be attending Duncanville High School, but I had a chance to see her a few times with her Lady Jets club team. My first look–see evaluation here was a great one back in 2022, and her energy level even then stood out. I had a chance to catch her again recently, and with everything she brings to the table, expect her to be JEFFERSONIZED, Movin On Up see evaluations here

Traylor hitched up nicely, and I was wondering why she wasn’t on my radar, yet with all the platforms, I can’t be everywhere, but using the search bar, I caught her in 2022 at Prime Time Nationals see evaluation here. Oklahoma is still OK as far as an abundance ot talented players to choose from, so her getting taller, long and athletic, and showing a very nice crossover to score had me smiling. Her “on the ball” defense, rebounding, and court vision also looked good

Traylor had me use the search bar, which I advise readers to do, but I don’t do it just to see how on point I am, well, actually I do, so this is from 2022 at Prime Time Nationals see evaluation here . Everything I said was consistent, but she’s also “long and athletic” and her powerful finishes after contact showed how strong she is, but her crossover JUST DID IT for me

Athletic guard that has great size for the point guard position. A guard that pushes the tempo baseline to baseline with the dribble. Made several long passes on a rope to the teammate filling the lanes in transition. An aggressive downhill driver that does not mind the contact for the And 1 finish. A outside shooter that knocked down the 3-pointer off the catch or off the dribble. Showed a nice mid-range pull up jumper around the 15 feet area at the elbow and short corners.
A complete guard that brings great versatility with the size and skill set. Tough defender on the ball that has them going sideline to sideline., Among the top 2028’s in Oklahoma who is having a strong summer

Nadia brings the complete package when you talk about being a point guard. The first thing that stands out is the height and body size she has. It allows her to be versatile in playing1-3 position. The offense skill box is full of several moves that can get into a attack the rim or space to knock down the outside shot. Great vision in the half court sets with passes on a rope to a backdoor cutter, even better vision in the open floor where she can advance the ball 30 feet on a pass.
Tough defender on defense that can apply the pressure 94 feet creating points off the turnover. The body size and physical play also allows her to be able to switch on the post on guard screens.
If you have Nadia play then I am telling you nothing your already know. If you have seen her play check her out. She is well deserving among the Top Players in the class 2028.

Traylor gave me a lasting first impression because I was trying to figure out why I had never seen her until the roster showed she was from Oklahoma. She scored off the dribble, nice body control on her finishes after contact but her pull-up jumper needs to be mentioned, along with her “on the ball” pressure

Traylor earned freshman of the year honors for Class 6A District 1. Has the potential to be a special scorer. Great combination of speed and smoothness makes her an off the dribble threat, with range from three. While her speed to pressure the rim is impressive, so is her ability to slow it down and play at different paces when attacking. Has a nasty cross that get the defenders guessing the wrong way, or can play more methodical with outstanding footwork. Capable of finishing with both hands at the rim. Checks a lot of boxes as an explosive and skilled scorer

The dynamic freshman did not look out of place on Saturday morning. She’s quick and aggressive, including one push off a defensive rebound that saw her cross up one defender and finish through a help defender for an “old fashion” three point play. Her crossover was nasty, and throughout the day she was fine playing through contact on drives. Traylor is bringing immediate impact to a young and promising Deer Creek squad.
