Gainey is one of the top available senior guards in the state. She showed that with two great performances against very solid competition. Gainey recently had one of the best games of the season by anyone scoring 40 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and grabbing 10 steals for Seckinger against Roswell. Against Milton, a perennial power in Georgia, Gainey scored 29 points and had 7 steals. Gainey is an elite athlete who uses her quickness and anticipation to jump in passing lanes and create steals as well as anyone.

Georgia’s top dog when it comes to forcing turnovers, Gainey is an elite defender. Lani lives in transition, converting steals into layups at an alarming right. Gainey is a flag football star. Her ball hawking ways take any lazy passes back to the house. Nalani has improved in the halfcourt as well. She gets to her floater and is starting to hit the outside shot with more consistency.
