About Natalie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would consider myself a reliable shot maker from each level, having great fundamentals, and a high basketball IQ. I am very versatile, can shoot from the 3-point line as well as drop down and finish inside. I understand the importance of spacing, and consistently move without the ball to find the open space. I am also an effective rebounder as a guard due to my size and length.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very competitive and always like a challenge. I am very focused on the court and work hard all game to help my team. Teamwork is very important to me, and I enjoy developing a good relationship with my teammates in order for the team to be successful. I consider myself to be very coachable and use constructive criticism as a way to make myself better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received academic honors in school every year since 6th grade, and continue to focus on my studies as they are very important to me.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always tried to step up and be the leader on my team in both school ball or AAU, whether it is directing teammates on the court or encouraging my teammates during the game. I support my team on the court as well as when I'm on the bench. I also have volunteered at the Michigan Senior Olympics multiple times during middle school with various sporting events they have hosted.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being in middle school, I have had to learn to manage my time with both academics and athletics. I attend a school with heavy homework and testing responsibilities, sometimes while playing two sports at once. It has taught me how important time management is.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school with high academic standards, as well as a competitive basketball program that will challenge me to become the best I can be.

Natalie is a versatile wing-forward prospect who has a bright future ahead of her. I got a sneak peek at her talent during my Headliners Invitational Showcase, and she was a top performer playing up with Mystics 14U Select in the 15U division. Natalie caught passes in the paint with soft hands, knocked down jumpers with balance, and scored contested layups at the rim off two feet with a soft touch. She disrupted shots on the defensive end effectively without fouling and started the fast breaks. Natalie scores at all three levels, shares the ball, works hard on defense, rebounds, and has length to be excited about. She had a great weekend at the PGH MI College Tour.
