Natalie has an amazing ability to score at all 3 levels, but her talents don’t stop on offense.

She is an absolute force in the paint when she’s playing defense. Natalie is a gritty defender, who plants her feet and doesn’t back down to a challenge. And she will gobble up rebounds on both ends of the court; challenging other post players to hang with her ability to track down the ball.

Natalie can also be a major shot-disruptor. She has excellent reach for someone just entering her sophomore season, and blocked or deflected at least 2-3 shots in each game I watched her play on Sunday.

Natalie had an outstanding showing at Sunday’s event, looking at times like one of the best post players on the court. But also showing that her skillset isn’t limited to playing in the paint.

Natalie is incredibly tough down low. She can make a basket under heavy pressure, and she is going to pile up a ton of rebounds in her prep career. She always seems to find a way to get in position for a board.

But Natalie can step outside and drop a 3-pointer when you’re least expecting it. She’s dangerous at every spot on the floor, and even showed off her clutch gene; delivering the game-winning shot at the buzzer in one of her team’s wins.

Natalie is a challenging matchup on both ends of the court, and will be a double-double factory in high school ball.

Natalie is a very impressive player, who can surprise you with her wide skillset. She’s a dominant force in the post, but can knock down deep shots as well.

Natalie says that she enjoys being a post player. And at 5’10, she is a force to be reckoned with in the paint. She can make baskets against heavy pressure, she gets some ferocious blocks, and with the amount of rebounds she pulls down, she’ll be a constant double-double threat.

Natalie has great hands, and won’t let anything past her on the glass. But she’s an amazing 3-level player who has a sweet stroke from behind the arc. And in her second game of the day, she knocked down a deep 2-point shot at the buzzer to give her team a 41-40 win.

Natalie tells me that she enjoys playing in the post because it gives her a chance to score, but also to kick the ball out to open teammates when she gets double-teamed.
