The 11th region player of the year was the leader for Madison Central in nearly every statistical category. A scoring guard who can fill it up in a hurry, Strader is capable of scoring the ball at every level. She’s also a capable defender who can make an impact on that end as well.

Voted the 11th region player of the year last week, Nataya has had a huge season in a remarkable year for the Lady Indians. Capable of scoring or creating offense for others, Strader has college interest from every level and will be a signing day steal, in my opinion.

is on a mission in her final season at Madison Central. She dropped 30 points and snagged 9 rebounds in the season opener and followed that performance with a team-high 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists on Saturday. The Lady Indians are now 2-0 to start the season. Coaches she is still uncommitted and could be an immediate contributor for your program next fall.

So quick with and without the ball. Really has a solid game all-around. Great handles and very shifty with the ball. Defenders were really struggling to stay in front and she recognized that, constantly making plays for both herself and for her teammates. Applied excellent defensive pressure as well. Strader, Jordynn Miles, and Brittany Campbell were all 3 really making it hard for defenses to stay in front and made some great drives to the basket.

Strader impressed all of us at the Top 250 event this fall and makes a big move up the rankings, climbing from 56th to 26th. Nataya plays hard and with a super high basketball IQ. The type of player who makes winning plays!

One of the standout players at our Top 250 a couple of weeks ago, Nataya is a sleeper for a Madison Central team that is capable of making noise in the 11th region this season. Shifty with the ball in her hands, Strader is a good decision maker with the ball and is also a good shooter when she’s operating as a catch and shoot player. Her stock is definitely trending up.
