About Nayla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Nayla is a versatile guard who plays with control and pace, able to create her own shot, finish at the rim, and stretch the floor with her perimeter game. She has strong court vision, moves well without the ball, and thrives in transition. On defense, she’s aggressive and disciplined, using anticipation and quickness to disrupt plays and force turnovers.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Nayla is a highly coachable and unselfish player who puts team success first. She’s competitive yet composed, a natural leader who communicates well on and off the court. Her work ethic, resilience, and positive energy make her a dependable teammate and someone who consistently elevates the group around her.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, Ivl've been given the Humanitarian Award at school where onky 2 people in the grade have been given this award. Recieved the friendship leadership award at the Mcquain camp. I've also been named the diversity leader at school and given the leadership award through Chicago Indopak an Asian basketball youth program.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership by stepping up to guide and motivate my teammates, both in practice and during games. Teamwork has been one of my biggest strengths, as I focus on playing unselfishly, supporting others, and building trust on the court. I’ve also grown through community service, where I’ve learned the importance of giving back, staying humble, and being a positive influence. These experie
