Sparks would be the obvious choice for a key player from Winsor. However, it must be noted that she has the potential to increase her production another level, even though she’s already a 1000-point scorer coming into the season. As a junior she was stellar on both sides of the ball. She demonstrated a sense of tirelessness that allowed her to gain a competitive advantage. Sparks can do a bit of everything on the offensive end, but she’s also an energetic rebounder that gives her team second chance points consistently. Nell can push the ball in transition, but she is highly effective in halfcourt play. Her stamina also aids in her defensive ability. She works diligently, exerting efforts that can antagonize opposing perimeter players. Sparks has a lot left in the tank and she can certainly be a major stock riser this year.
