Washington keeps making strides with her play around the bucket. The closer she’s to the basket the more effective she plays. She will play with her back to the basket and post up down on the block. Nevaeh will crash the glass and keep the ball up high after claiming it off the rim.
She constantly plays aggressive inside the paint. Nevaeh has picked up a few offers already. She made the move up from #91 to #37 this time around. The Lady Chiefs will play in Class 5A this season in the new Beach Region.

Speaking of veteran presences, Washington also put many of her veteran talents on display as well. She landed an offer from South Carolina State earlier in the offseason. If it is one thing one can count on with Washington it is that she will never give up on a play. Even if she has multiple defenders on her in the low post, she will work for everything she can get. Washington also displayed her ability to handle the ball as if she was a guard and is an effective rebounder. She did plenty of that last season as the 5-foot-10 four forward averaged 9.7 boards along with 7.6 points and 2.3 steals per contest and her North Myrtle Beach team will need plenty of that once again as the Chiefs move up to 5A.

Washington had a solid spring and summer on the Grassroots Circuit. She plays with her back to the basket and understands where her production is a nightly basis down in the paint. Neveah will carve out space down low and work for position. She is best suited to play in a half court style of play.

Washington plays up in Horry County at North Myrtle Beach HS. Nevaeh was able to utilize a nice drop-step move around the block. She works for position down in the paint working both sides of the block. Nevaeh will keep the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. She seems to best suited for more of half-court style of play with her game.
