Nicole is a player that is the glue to any team. She has the IQ and skill set to figure out how to break the defensive scheme down. If her team needs her to score, she will find a way to get a bucket. If her team needs her to get the rebound, she will go grab the rebound. If her team needs her to get a defensive stop, she will find a way to make that happen. This kid is a winner and goes 100% no matter what.

Nikki will be playing for the Lady Attack Elite and looking to showcase her talents this Spring. She is a versatile small forward that plays with a lot of grit and determination. She is 5’11 and uses her strength and physical style to be a tough nosed defender and rebounder. Amend also has a craft of being able to mix it up on the offensive end. Her ability to step out beyond the arc and knock down threes has raised her game to another level.

This is a kid that definitely needs to be ranked amongst the top performers. She has had a breakout year for Wakefield and is getting plenty of college coaches’ attention. Averaging 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. She plays like a honey badger on defense and makes it tough for anyone to get around her and score. She does an excellent job of anticipating passes and getting steals. She is a three-level scorer that can get to rim with force, pull up with finesse and step back beyond the arc and knock down a triple.

Nicole Amend Nicole Amend 5'11" | CG/SF Wakefield | 2027 State NC moves well with the ball getting to the rim, and she flashes to the basket ready for the pass.  She can set up some offensive plays around the perimeter getting her team going.  She used her length to deflect passes on defense.  She was tough on her drives to the basket making it count through contact.

Nicole “Nikki” Amend was one of the top overall players at the showcase. Nikki displayed why she is getting offers at the next level. She proved she can score at all three-levels. She was a great finisher through traffic at the rim, she stopped and popped several times in transition, and she shot the ball well beyond the arc. Nikki also controlled the glass on rebounds and defended with the best of them. She is 5’11 and VERSATILE! She will make an impact this season at Wakefield HS in Raleigh, NC.

Nicole Amend Nicole Amend 5'11" | CG/SF Wakefield | 2027 State NC has a range of moves that she can use to get her some points.  She can handle the ball using power dribbles to get into position and score some points.  She is quick with her footwork in the paint going to work and battling against anyone to bank it off the glass.  She can also help Bagwell with her shooting from deep, and her cuts into the open space cutting to the basket allow her teammates to hit her with an easy entry pass.

Nicole Amend Nicole Amend 5'11" | CG/SF Wakefield | 2027 State NC had some tough takes to the basket using her spin moves to create space.  She battled against contact, too, or used her step back move to knock down some jumpers.  She seals off her defenders on the block and free throw line making her an easy target for the entry pass.

Amend moves well without the ball, constantly staying active and making smart, strategic cuts to create scoring opportunities. Her off-ball awareness keeps defenses engaged, and she does a great job catching in traffic and making quick decisions. When interior looks aren’t there, she shows poise by reversing the ball and keeping the offense flowing.
