Nikyah Gonzales Nikyah Gonzales 5'4" | PG LA is a tough, high-energy point guard who brings speed, confidence, and leadership to the SBS Prep Louisiana backcourt. The 5-foot-4 guard is part of the 2028 class and has also been identified with Chalmette High School.

Gonzales plays with an attacking mentality and is not afraid to compete. She can apply pressure with the ball in her hands, push the pace in transition, and create opportunities by getting downhill. Her hustle and toughness allow her to make an impact even when she is not scoring, especially through defensive pressure, effort plays, and her willingness to battle every possession.

Her growing role with SBS Prep is another sign of her development. Gonzales has been featured as part of the program’s young 2028–29 group and recognized among its summer team captains, showing the trust placed in her voice, effort, and ability to lead from the point guard position.

As her shooting consistency, decision-making, and control of tempo continue to improve, Gonzales has the potential to become an even more complete floor general. She has the competitive attitude and backcourt tools to help SBS Prep play faster, defend harder, and stay organized offensively.
