The surprise of the Big Eight this season has been Noelle Rauwolf Noelle Rauwolf 5'6" | PG/CG Verona | 2027 State WI . She’s earned the lion’s share of ball-handling duties and has attacked teams that press head-on. Against Vel Phillips Memorial, Rauwolf’s ability to attack off the dribble, cut through a full-court press on her own, and her willingness to get to the rim was why the Wildcats won that game. She hadn’t played much, if at all, before this season, but she’s been outstanding.
