Combo Guard. She is quick with a quick release and does’t need much space to get her shot off.

’27 Shooting Guard
Johnson was on fire in the first half from three point range making four before intermission. Nikhil also scored getting out on the fast break, as well as getting to the basket and scoring against Habersham’s zone defense. Johnson got to the free throw line often and made the most of her opportunities there. She was a threat with the ball every time she had it and did a nice job picking and choosing when to attack.

When seeing how accurate Johnson is from behind the 3-point arc, one can see why she primarily plays as a two a bit more than at point. Regardless, the 2027 standout guard from 2A Franklin County can thrive in either of those roles. Johnson put together a seven-point performance in one of Net Rippers 16U’s victories from this past weekend. It occurred in a 48-34 decision against SC Eagles UA Rise 16U. Even though her main spot is at the two, she can attack the rim with fearlessness and ferocity which can give plenty of problems to plenty of defenses. Johnson was also a bright spot for her team in what was, otherwise, a rough go of things on Sunday against OMG Academy 16U.

Net Rippers 16U had a tall task on its hands in the early afternoon portion of the Sunday card matching up against OMG Academy 16U. Johnson still held her own, scoring __ points on what was otherwise a rough go of things against one of the tougher teams among the 2027 set. Johnson can handle the ball with either her right or left hand and can get creative with how she finishes at the rim from time to time. Initially, Johnson may get set offensively either in the corner or at the wing. She can be accurate with her long-range shot and has no problems drawing contact to get to the free throw line.
