There are several talented shooting guards in the class but Deters has played at a high level since stepping on the floor as a freshman. The Benedictine College commit is a returning first team 1A D I selection from KBCA (2x), KSHSAACovered, Sports In Kansas and Twin Valley League (2x). two-time Twin Valley League first team. This is her last shot at a state title. The Panthers took third last year and finished runner-up in 2022. She has poured in more than 1,300 points in her career.

Deters recently announced a commitment to Benedictine to play basketball for the Ravens. I have not seen the multi-sport prospect play basketball in person, but have seen her play volleyball. She is quick and has a nice vertical. She is hoping to lead the Panthers to postseason success in volleyball. Centralia has a record of 27-4 and will be the No. 1 seed in the Class 1A DI Regional One, and will host a quadrant tournament on October 21.

Deters has long been one of the top players in 1A Division I. The two-time Twin Valley League first team selection also repeated as a first team selection by KBCA, KSHSAA and Sports In Kansas. Deters is a prolific scorer, and absolute money shooter, who enters her senior season having already scored more than 1,300 points. She is hard-nosed, composed, heady and a very good distributor. Her headiness defensively is also strong. She holds an offer from Benedictine College.

Deters is a returning KBCA and Varsity Kansas 1A first team and two-time Twin Valley League first team selection who has already racked up 825 points.  A quick, heady guard with terrific scoring ability from range.  Perhaps her strongest trait is her poise.  A high IQ, consistent team player.  The Panthers 2023 season ended with a 5-point sub-state finals loss to event state champion Doniphan West.
