Karcz is an extremley young prospect who still has plenty of room to grow into her frame and develop her skill set. Young players with size like hers tend to come along a little later, but there’s a lot to like about her right now, as she heads into her eighth-grade year. She moves well for her size, can catch the ball in traffic, and uses her size to defend around the rim. There’s a long way to go, but there’s plenty to be intrigued by from the young Mount Horeb native.

When you see that she is coordinated and already knowledgable about the game as well, you start to really imagine the promise her future will hold. Karcz was working the paint on both ends today. She was posting with her back to the basket every chance she would get, usually making an impressive shot over her shoulder going towards the middle of the lane. I saw this and thought it might be a mistake at first or just a tough attempt but on multiple occasions she made the shot she was attempting. I’m not sure if Karcz is a pure hooper but I’m sure we will see her on a collegiate court one day in some facet.
