About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dynamic two-way guard and knockdown shooter who scores off the catch or off the bounce, attacks downhill, and finishes creatively. I use strong footwork to punish overplays, have aggressive hands defensively, create deflections, and disrupt passing lanes. I play with pace, vision, and high basketball IQ, pushing the ball in transition and making winning plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am highly competitive and driven to win. I play with confidence, toughness, and purpose, embrace big moments, and hold myself and my teammates to a high standard. I am coachable, resilient, and committed to constant improvement, bringing energy, focus, and a team-first mindset every time I step on the floor.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership and teamwork skills by serving as a varsity team captain as a freshman while playing point guard. I lead by example, communicate clearly, and help coach on the floor by directing teammates, organizing our offense, and making adjustments in real time. I take pride in being coachable, accountable, and focused on helping my team succeed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced significant challenges early in my high school career. I began my freshman season returning from a golf cart accident and played through multiple injuries, showing toughness and commitment to my team. I also faced personal adversity by competing while grieving the loss of my grandmother during the season, which strengthened my resilience, perspective, and mental toughness.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a strong team culture and a connected locker room. I value relationships, accountability, and being part of a program that feels like a family. My faith is important to me, and I am drawn to schools that share similar values. I am interested in NAIA programs close to home but am open to any college that aligns with who I am and what I value.
