Draining an impressive 96 three-pointers at a 38% clip, she played a key role in leading her team to a state championship. A relentless competitor, Olson thrives both off the dribble and in catch-and-shoot situations. Highlight performances include 37 points vs. Cocoa and a scorching 6-for-8 from three against Paxon. She tallied five games with five or more triples, showcasing her consistency and confidence from deep. Olson’s elite shooting and fearless mentality make her one of the most dangerous perimeter threats around.

Liv went nuclear in their championship win with a 30-point, 12 rebound double-double. Her energy and passion shined through for the entirety of the game as she was so locked in before they even took the court. Olivia’s mid-range jumper was lethal & she just couldn’t be stopped all game long. She finished her two games in Lakeland with 24.5 ppg, 12 rpg, and 3.5 spg. Big things ahead for this Marshall commit!

She was here last year on a talented Mainland team, and the experience in the Finals could benefit Olson in the championship game. Olson has more than just experience in her repertoire. She has an offensive skillset that is top five in the State Championship series. Olson had over 90 three pointers entering the the final 4 and also brought her 21 point average with her. She can heat up quickly and will look to do so in the 5A Finals.

The 5’10” guard/wing is lights out. The senior is currently averaging 21.6 PPG and has made 90 three-pointers this season, ranking her #77 nationally, according to MaxPreps. I don’t expect her scoring output to change in the state championships—she is a pure scorer and is likely to have some of her best performances yet on the big stage. She will be a game-planning nightmare for opposing teams.

From the very beginning, Olson was on fire—I don’t believe she missed a single shot in the first half, going 4-for-4 from the three-point line. She showcased her versatility, hitting a corner three, a three off the dribble, a three out of an elevator screen, and a catch-and-shoot three from the wing—all swishing through the net. She finished the game with an impressive 7 or 8 three-pointers.

Olson also contributed on the boards, grabbing rebounds and quickly initiating transition offense with sharp outlet passes. When an outlet pass wasn’t an option, she pushed the ball herself, setting up her teammates for easy transition buckets.

The addition of Olivia, along with her talented teammate Iniya, makes New Smyrna Beach an instant favorite to play for the 5A state championship this season.
