Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Sharpshooting guard who will be looked upon to fill an important role when it comes to scoring the basketball. It’s her turn to shine as she will be looked upon to dial it up for her club. She can score it from multiple levels as well as create for herself and others. She’s a competitor who competes on the defensive end as well, using her body to be in a solid position to prevent buckets, create turnovers, and rebound. She had a great summer where she attracted the eyes of multiple collegiate coaches. Look for her to carry this momentum right into high school ball and tear it up. Solid ballplayer who is going to be a big-time contributor for the Lady Bruins.

Morris is an absolute star in her role at Brentwood as a “connector” role player. Look at the these numbers:

perfectly. When they help too much off Morris, she makes them pay. I was really impressed with Morris’ passing vision as well, as she made her teammates better all season. She averaged almost 3 assists a game. Just a really good overall team player.

Versus Knox Webb proved she’s still a lights out shooter. When you have

as a teammate, you’re gonna get a lot of open looks, and Morris capitalizes. She also showed flashes of diversifying her game as she was attacking the rim with confidence, and getting to the FT line.

Morris quietly developed into one of the more consistent shooters in her class this school ball season, and really gave Brentwood another weapon to go alongside

. Morris is (at this stage) really a 3 point specialist, and with the weapons that Brentwood has returning, Morris will find herself wide open a lot!
She’s averaging nearly 13 points a game while hitting 2.5 3’s on nearly 40% shooting from behind the arc. Role players like Morris give teams like Brentwood the chance to be great.
She’s also developing the ability to attack off the bounce, which will give her an advantage as defenders must give poor closeouts in scramble situations.

Brentwood had a big win over Summitt (73-39) to advance to Saturday’s championship game. The Brentwood secondary scorers have been playing really well of late:

had an easy 27. When Castagna and Morris combine for 27 points, and Ryan is giving you another 27….they just become too tough to beat.
Quinn Johnston, Summitt’s best player, scored 10.

has done in her role for Brentwood this season. She’s been lights out on both ends, and in particular, she’s turning into a next-level shooter. She’s knows what she excels at, and she doesn’t press the issue. Another example of a kid who understand the value of being great at one or two things, carving out a niche, and starring in your role.

Morris, and her Brentwood squad, deserve a shout out for the work they are putting together this season. Brentwood looks dangerous, and in part due to ’25 Morris. She’s turned into a true sniper averaging 3.4 made threes a game on 44% (yes….44%) shooting from behind the arc. If you leave Morris open, she’s going to bury it.

Morris had 24 points, including eight 3-pointers as the Lady Bruins captured a 20-point win, 78-58, over Cascade. Morris’ 8 made 3’s is a huge night for this young lady who’s really starting to make a name for herself.

Only averaged 6.5 points, but more importantly, served as a shooting pressure release. She she 47 3’s on 33% shooting–extraordinary numbers for a freshman. I expect to see Morriss’ game continue to get better and better!
