Fargo North has a lot of pieces returning next season that will set them up for one of their better seasons in recent memory. Paityn will be one of those main pieces returning. She was selected to the All-EDC team this season after producing consistently all year. She is a very strong guard and has begun to learn how to use that strength to overpower opponents going to the rim. She is light on her feet and can be creative at finishing at the basket. She finished the year averaging 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.

Paityn is having the best season of her high school career. She is North’s best scorer at 14.6 points per game. She is also averaging 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 steals a game. She is a powerful athlete with tremendous strength. She is able to bully smaller guards to the basket and is able to keep bigger opponents at bay. I think she certainly has potential to play at the next level. She isn’t afraid to launch it from three, but will need to continue putting in work to bring up her shooting percentage. Her athletic ability makes her an intriguing prospect.

Paityn had a quality year for the Spartans and will see an increased role the next two seasons. She averaged 6.8 points per game this season, which was good for fourth best on her team. She shoots just over 31% from three, an above average percentage for high school girls. She is a great athlete and will be relied on heavily for North going forward.

Paityn is an exciting young player. I was really impressed with her body control on the floor last season as a freshman. She worked her way into the rotation as the season progressed and was able to play big time minutes towards the end of the season. Paityn has a good change of direction and speed, and has an athletic frame that makes it difficult to keep her from getting to the basket.
