With excellent guard play all round for IBelieve’s 2027 P24 team, it took a lot to standout and Kanoute did just that against Duval Elite. She was active in most of the action when she was in the game, and she made good use of her time in front of a baseline full of college coaches on both ends of the floor. Offensively Paola showed a lot of skill and confidence handling and shooting the basketball. One of her best plays of the game came when she hit her defender with a nice hesitation move before getting to the basket in a flash and finishing with left handed finger roll off the glass. Kanoute hit multiple shots from the outside of the paint as well. On defense she did a good job keeping her hands off the ball handler while still applying pressure and quickly moving her feet often beating them to their spot. She has offers from Boston University, Howard, Quinnipiac, Radford, and the latest coming from Tulane.

Kanoute has been a shining star with IBelieve in a few of the matchups watched. Her length, active hands, high-motor, soft touch at the rim and willingness to take open shots pose a serious threat to opponents. Kanoute has a presence on the floor, no matter who she’s out there against. This is a player that’s getting serious college attention right now.

Paola is a strong, physical scorer who can impact the game both inside and out. As a lefty shooter, she is comfortable knocking down contested threes, but she also thrives in the paint where she finishes through contact and creates and-one opportunities. Paola uses her strength well in the post, showing patience and footwork with moves like drop steps and pump fakes.

Paola flashed a ton in the Girls Hoop Serie quarterfinal playoff win vs Newman. She finished with 22 pts and 6 rebs. Her energy on the floor was absolutely unmatched.

Paola delivered a monster performance in a 69–58 win over Hoosac, recording a triple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 steals. She has elite defensive instincts, consistently jumping passing lanes and securing the ball with strong hands. Paola quickly turns defense into offense, pushing the pace in transition for easy scoring chances. Earlier this season, she also impressed at the Nickerson Showcase, posting 8 points and 7 rebounds against IMG Academy.

Kanoute was doing it all, producing an impressive triple-double stat-line in a big 68-59 win over Hoosac. Kanoute was flying all over the court, making a significant difference and never letting up. She ended up with 21 pts, 10 reb plus 10 stl.
