About Payton

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strengths are my leadership skills, toughness, work ethic, athleticism, and aggressiveness on both ends of the court.

What are you working to improve right now?

I am a strong believer in constantly working on all aspects of my game. I believe that you can always improve, so I work on each part of my game, daily. I push myself to be my best each day for my team, my coaches, and myself.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a college program that pushes it's players on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. I want a program that will push me to be my very best in all aspects of my life.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of basketball, I also run cross country and track. I was awarded the 3-Sport Scholar Athlete Award my freshman year of high school. Outside of school, I regularly volunteer in my community, as I believe that it is important to give back to my community. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, in my off time. I am a happy person, with a strong moral compass and strong work ethic.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I would like to study nursing, specifically interested in becoming an Anesthetist.

The Muskego native is a guard who excels more away from the ball. She moves off the ball and has a motor that stood out in the minutes I saw her play 5v5 in Appleton. She has solid length for a guard and is willing to make hustle plays on both ends of the court. She isn’t a player who will score 20 points each time she steps on the floor, but she’s willing to work hard and make plays on both ends of the court.
