The Muskego native was among the more impressive players in Mequon over the three days. She has a strong frame and plays physically around the basket, and I think her physical tools will play at the high school level, and I don’t see that often with incoming freshmen. She is also an athletic kid who competes on both ends of the floor. She has the talent to be one of the more productive players in her class over the next four years, if she continues to work on her game. However, she was one of the players who impressed me the most.

If you know Staska you know she plays the game the right way, and she’s done just that both days she has been playing alongside some good guards that has been finding her for open shots and on cuts to the basket for scores.

Kenley displayed strong court awareness and was effective creating advantages with the ball in her hands. She attacked gaps in the defense and used her handle to create driving lanes throughout the game. Her ability to stay composed under pressure allowed her to make productive plays. Kenley’s combination of ball-handling and attacking ability helped fuel her team’s offense.

I enjoy watching Staska’s game she really gets after it. Her basketball IQ is off the charts, and she’s been impressive for Team Prime Nation early on. She”s a player to keep tabs on, capable of stepping up and keeping her team calm and composed throughout the Midwest Madness.

was the best defender that I saw this weekend. I mentioned Staska yesterday as being one of the best defenders I’ve seen all AAU season on the road and I stand by that after Day 3 of this event as well. Staska is physical, athletic, quick, a natural with an act for getting her hands on the basketball, and she is beyond disciplined. She is willing to guard her opponent in the full-court for a full contest, not giving up an inch of space and that stood out a few times over the past few days in Appleton.
