With Pearl patrolling the paint, the Bears held opponents to an average of around 43 ppg. It’s not just the blocks though, it’s her ability to completely change the course of shots. Players can’t just come into the paint with Dickson hanging around.

It can now be said with confidence that Berkshire’s utility big is one of the most powerful frontcourt talents in New England in ’27. Pearl’s name should certainly be mentioned when discussing the better centers around. She’s a force to be reckoned with in the defensive paint, naturally deters an absorbent number of shots and can even add some supplementary scoring in various situations when called for. Dickson’s stability plus constant activity downlow makes opponents second guess everything.

Dickson was a natural rim deterrent that provided a ton of value down low defensively. Even if she wasn’t able to get the block, her presence and activity made players think twice before. Although there’s some raw attributes offensively, it’s hard to contain such a big target all game long. Even when she wasn’t finishing, Dickson was still a major factor on the glass.

Pearl’s size alone can be intimidating, but she brings so much more to the table. She’s dynamic on the glass, grabbing rebounds up at the highest point. Her lane agility along with those long arms make her a natural deterrent for opposing players coming in for layups. Dickson’s offensive game has leaped as well and that’s what’ll be under close watch in the game vs. Rivers. Pearl has a chance to impose her will on a team that’ll be a tad undersized.

Dickson was Berkshire’s frontline force that has made huge strides in her game over the year. She has found a touch for herself around the rim, demonstrating she can be a reliable figure when it matters. Not only that, but Pearl has been massively effective being a rim protector and discouraging lane drivers. The 6’4 big has started to come into her own, its daunting to think of where she could project as she adds more pieces to her game. All that said, her impact on the game has her as the #1 big in the class.
