Peyton is a Swiss Army knife prospect who contributes in every way to help her team succeed–she had a great day for Lakeland at the Plymouth Summer League. I noted that Peyton was strong and tough; she popped right up after hard fouls, would not quit on a play, and hit the deck to scrap for 50/50 balls. Peyton changed hands to score a reverse layup with her left, drove by a defender for a layup after a behind-the-back snap, and faked a DHO to score a strong and-one layup off the dribble. Peyton paused after the catch, used a quick rip move, and avoided a defender with a high pick-up to score the layup. She set the standard of work ethic with her on-ball defense and pursuit of offensive rebounds. Peyton communicated loudly with teammates during games and from the sidelines. She kicked the ball out to the perimeter after penetrating gaps with her drives, knocked down free throws, and buried multiple three-pointers.

impressed at the MAAC Scrimmages last weekend and she repeated those qualities again Sunday at the April Showers Classic. She sealed with a strong base inside, used a quick inside pivot on the catch, and transferred to her left hand to finish off the glass. Peyton demonstrated her determination by sprinting back to attempt a block at the rim in transition. She dribbled through defenders to draw the help and then dished to an open teammate inside.

(2026 Nationals) was a physically imposing performer at the MAAC Scrimmages. She has a strong and athletic build, which gives her advantages on both ends whether she’s playing in the wing, guard, or post. Peyton finsished a strong drive in traffic and worked inside to earn offensive rebounds and put backs. She forces shooters to make difficult shots with her defensive positioning and will be a prospect to watch for the Mystics this spring.

Baer has been playing some very good basketball for months now and deserves to see her name as a stock-riser. She’s shown her ability to score in a variety of ways and from multiple spots on the floor. Baer is at her best when she gets aggressive off the bounce and takes the ball straight at the rim.
