On a night when her team was outmanned Edwards played consistent effort. She battled inside against players nearly twice her size, absorbed physical contact, and kept competing even when she was knocked down and simply overpowered by length and strength. One sequence defined her resilience: She attacked the basket, took a hard hit mid-drive, and was sent flying in the opposite direction. Edwards didn’t fade. On the very next possession, she calmly stepped into the corner and drilled a composed three. Edwards delivered sharp entry passes under pressure, threaded a nice assist to a cutting teammate in traffic. The young guard played with grit and effort and a college coach noticed it.
