Garcia already “gets it” and her staying under control handling the ball while being pressured was a plus but so was her decision-making as she saw the floor both in the set, as well as in transition. She also attacked and scored but her court vision off the dribble was equally impressive

Garcia immediately showed me she could attack the basket and finish after contact from multiple angles. Much of that had to do with her first step which enabled her to get by the defender, yet her body control needs to be mentioned as it helped her stay with it after the lick. She also did a good job creating her shot under pressure and dropping the jumper from outside
